Our Interest

The environmental systems of the earth are in trouble. Climate change is affecting the earth and the world's population is feeling the effects. While it is debatable whether or not these changes are caused by humans, the environmental impact upon the global population nearing 8 billion is irrefutable. Catastrophic wildfires, rapidly melting glaciers and polar ice caps, rising sea levels, widespread and severe drought, thousands of species on the brink of extinction and more are signs of these long-predicted impacts. What can be done? 

We believe in taking action. This is values-based. Empowermin is founded upon the principle of taking a proactive approach to applying thought, and technology to real world problems using innovative thinking driven by curisoity. Irrespective of the reasons driving climate change, there are improvements that can be implemented at local levels to help drive change to a tipping point that will lead to global reductions.
